HSSMI has been working with automotive manufacturers to help them transition to electric vehicle manufacture. In this video, we outline how manufacturers can efficiently transition, taking into account cost, time and space requirements.

The STAGE project will support businesses in transitioning to a low-carbon and resource-efficient circular economy, implement new business models, and advance industrial technologies and innovation to meet the requirements of the new industrial revolution.

The SHyLO project will advance a currently small-scale solid-state hydrogen storage system and build it into a large-scale hydrogen solution, which could be commercialised for different applications. The solution will be supported by an AI platform and will undergo testing in the Orkney Isles.

As one of the most recent additions to the HSSMI team, Jess Lewis joined us in May 2022 as a Technical Lead in Logistics. With nearly five years of experience in logistics, working at one the UK’s leading automotive manufacturers, HSSMI is excited to have her on board.

The EKC Group will be establishing Learning Factories with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies. These Factories are anticipated to provide a real change in learning, helping college students and employers develop decarbonisation skills and model future practices.

HSSMI will help Tokamak Energy develop their own manufacturing engineering capability and develop steady-state and repeatable production processes and equipment. Working with Tokamak Energy, HSSMI will define a measurable quality assurance strategy and a roadmap for future scalability.
