Some challenges are too big to tackle alone, and only by teaming up can we conceive of a comprehensive solution. Creating a more sustainable future for our planet, reducing waste and pollution and extending the lifecycle of our products are just some of the challenges facing the world today.

At HSSMI we often look at innovative ways to improve existing workflows for the manufacturing engineering sector. One of the more recent interests was in the development of a workflow to implement the use of photogrammetry using drones for manufacturing.

This paper aims to present the IN 4.0 project, aiming to ease the adaptation and adoption of I4.0 practices and technologies in maritime sector companies in order to improve their competitiveness, especially targetting SMEs.
