Since the "Sustainable Transition to the Agile and Green Enterprise - STAGE" project kicked off in June 2022, HSSMI have been developing bespoke tools to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to transition towards a sustainable future.

The HISTORY project will focus on the development of a multi-layer, solid state pouch cell to automotive levels of performance. HSSMI will lead Life cycle and End of Life assessment activities, with the goal of ensuring sustainability is embedded in Ilika's solid state battery cell.

It was brilliant to showcase the work we are all doing within the SHyGAN project with an event at the Baxi Training Centre and to also demonstrate the possibilities that hydrogen will offer in the next years. 

It’s great to collaborate again with AMTE Power on this new project, helping them to scale up battery cell production for their Ultra high power cells. Our technical specialist Robin Foster is leading the charge from HSSMI’s side.

The HSSMI team were on hand to support the  launch of the EKC Group's green engineering learning zone at Canterbury College as part of the conclusion to an 18 month project we have been consulting on.
